Design Lab

Design Lab is the longest running exhibition / festival institution in the field of Architectural, Interior and Industrial Design. Fourteen successful events (11 in Athens, 2 in Thessaloniki and 2 in Cyprus), in the context of which it has presented the whole range of issues concerning contemporary design in Greece.

The Design Lab was an event that brought together all the players in the field: Architects, Designers, Public and Private Schools of Applied Arts, Students, Companies of Materials, Furniture and Design Objects, as well as Manufacturers and of course all those interested in the field of design. By raising theoretical and practical issues, the Design Lab aimed at a synergy of forces and a meaningful dialogue between all stakeholders, for a holistic approach to the issues concerning the field of design.

Make Lab

The “Make Lab” platform was created to showcase a wide range of new creativity through the eyes of young designers. This project was born out of a collaboration between Design Lab and the creative team at the architectural firm Mind the Ark, with the aim of promoting design products in the Greek market.

This new platform for showcasing designers has set itself the task of highlighting some of the most important expressions of the design production process by the designer himself (” Autoproduct Design”), with art as a reference point, to create a common meeting place between the culture of the improvised product and that of the theoretical technique of design.
