Vinyl Is Back

Vinyl is Back was created with the aim of not being just another record fair, nor simply a celebratory event (only). Vinyl is Back was a combination of an exhibition, festival, and vinyl bazaar, aiming to mark the definitive, irrevocable, and systematic return of vinyl, but also to serve as an effective platform for the systematic recording of all parties involved in the process of producing, reproducing, and selling vinyl records (record companies, reproduction and management equipment, retail stores, private collectors).

“Counting” 14 events in total, Vinyl is Back acted as a reference point (local and temporal), where all vinyl lovers had the opportunity to meet each other, but also with the … objects of their desire. The ultimate goal: to exploit and systematically communicate with a potential audience of potential buyers, but also to develop the dynamics of the industry by “initiating” the younger generations to the “magic” of vinyl and turntables.
