An original Event- Materials Application Workshop for Architects, Designers, Manufacturers<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

THE NEED<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

In the architectural process, creation is inextricably linked to the Materials and Construction Methods<\/strong> in a sincere relationship of interaction – the Materials can undoubtedly either be a source of inspiration for the Designer, or play an important role in the successful realisation of the architectural project.<\/p>\n\n

\u0397 \u03c3\u03c9\u03c3\u03c4\u03ae \u03c7\u03c1\u03ae\u03c3\u03b7 \u03c4\u03c9\u03bd \u03c5\u03bb\u03b9\u03ba\u03ce\u03bd, \u03c3\u03c4\u03bf \u03c0\u03bb\u03b1\u03af\u03c3\u03b9\u03bf \u03c4\u03b7\u03c2 \u03ba\u03b1\u03c4\u03b1\u03c3\u03ba\u03b5\u03c5\u03b1\u03c3\u03c4\u03b9\u03ba\u03ae\u03c2 \u03bc\u03b5\u03bb\u03ad\u03c4\u03b7\u03c2, \u03c0\u03c1\u03bf\u03cb\u03c0\u03bf\u03b8\u03ad\u03c4\u03b5\u03b9 good knowledge of technical characteristics, materials and, in particular, their application<\/strong>. Knowledge that is essential for a proper architectural design. Earlier generations of architects knew about building and its materials, while today we see the phenomenon of architectural design focusing only on the general design of a project, without being interested in the study of its implementation, leaving this particular part and the project in general to other professionals in the field. In this way, the designer loses the essential contact with the central idea, unable to give it spirituality, feeling and experience.<\/p>\n\n

THE SOLUTION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

With Materials Technology developing rapidly <\/strong>in recent years and the market constantly being enriched with new materials<\/strong>, designers are required to keep up to date with their characteristics, staying in touch with a key part of their work.<\/p>\n\n

Archetype<\/strong><\/a> and Demand Fairs & Demand Fairs & Media<\/strong>, believing that the information of Designers about new materials -which they are called upon to use and specify- must be continuous, organize the Event- Material Application Lab<\/strong> for Architects, Designers, Manufacturers, entitled “The Material Lab. Material and Architecture”<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

During the Workshop, renowned companies in the field will present old and new cutting-edge materials<\/strong>. Through an original way, the technical characteristics of the materials will be presented, as well as the general specifications, but above all the way they can be applied in real time.<\/p>\n\n

METHOD OF PARTICIPATION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

In the Materials Application Laboratory “The Material Lab. Material and Architecture<\/strong><\/a>“, the Use and Application of Materials plays a dominant role.<\/p>\n\n

For this reason, each participating company has at its disposal a completely separate space, <\/a>where it \u201csets up\u201d its own laboratory. In this space, informative seminars on the materials of the participating company, live demonstrations of their use and application take place, while visitors have the opportunity to \u201cexperiment\u201d with the materials, \u2018explore\u2019 their potential and \u201cinspire\u201d new ways of using them. <\/p>\n\n

Each participating company, next to its \u201cworkshop\u201d, can also have <\/a>a basic booth space for its corporate presence, in order to do its Branding and its Business Contacts with the Visitors of The Material Lab<\/strong><\/a>, capitalizing directly in this way its participation in this original Event. <\/p>\n\n

PARTICIPANTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

In The<\/strong> Material<\/strong> Lab<\/strong><\/a>, selected companies from the following Material categories will participate (the list is indicative, as the Archetype Organizing Committee will evaluate the potential participants based on the qualitative characteristics of Innovation, Utility and Cutting Edge Technology): <\/p>\n\n
